If you think of jazz you should be thinking New Orleans and this picture captures that essence of the big easy perfectly in my opinion. The blur that was Bourbon street πΎπΊI’m not sure if you guys can tell but there’s a bride and her groom on that balcony. There is a crazy tradition that we noticed on bourbon st where people on balconies would be throwing down Mardi Gras beads to passerbys below them. That’s exactly what this newly wed couple was doin π
The Food
Beignets: from the famous Cafe du Monde…. These tasted like mini beaver tail balls π basically fried dough balls doused in icing sugar… Pretty much best thing everCan’t say you’ve tried southern Louisiana cuisine without having tried gumbo!! This was deliciousness in a bowl and a must-have!Shrimp creoleFried oysters … Some of the best oysters I’ve tried anywhere. Make sure to try out seafood in New Orleans.
